Making Maple

We produced Making Maple, a short-form documentary exploring the artistry and tradition of maple syrup making in Vermont. Filmed on location among sugarbush groves and rustic sugar shacks, the piece captures the slow, deliberate rhythm of the sugaring season - from the first taps to the final pour. With an emphasis on natural light, close-up detail, and ambient sound, the documentary conveys the craft’s deep connection to place and community. The film aired on Vermont PBS, bringing this quintessential New England story to a wider audience.
